Job Summary
Summary:
The Security Operations Monitor is responsible for overseeing security systems and ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role includes real-time monitoring, emergency response coordination, and accurate documentation of security-related incidents across the hospital campus.
Essential Functions:
Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control, and alarm systems, to identify and respond to potential threats or breaches.
Maintain situational awareness by actively observing video surveillance feeds and responding to alerts.
Accurately document and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and incidents according to established protocols.
Respond promptly to emergency situations including medical emergencies, fires, and security breaches.
Activate emergency protocols and coordinate response efforts, including notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services.
Maintain clear communication with emergency response teams to ensure coordinated and effective resolution.
