Hybrid Welder Journeyman at AEROMETALS INC

Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Welder Journeyman  

Pay range: $32 - $40 hourly

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Perform precision welding operations on aircraft and spacecraft components using advanced techniques such as TIG and MIG welding.
• Adhere to aerospace quality standards, traveler, drawing, and specification requirements.
• Obtain proper weld certifications and re-certifications as required by industry procedures and requirements.
• Perform inspection and stamp-off of welds performed. 
• Perform any other duties as required by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: Applicable weld certifications as required

Skills:

• Safety conscious
• Annual vision examination pass required
• Ability to pass all weld criteria according to the AWS D17.1 for Fusion Welding and Aerospace
• Ability to lift 25 pounds

Experience: 7+ years in welding

Training: On the job training.

We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, autoclave, and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application, militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.
