Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Material Handler who will be working in our Lewis Run, PA location. This person will report to the Production Supervisor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
To efficiently and safely operate moving equipment and satisfactorily move/bring materials to the proper locations.
Maintain product flow throughout the entire plant, while striving to minimize equipment downtime.
To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification.
Follow FIFO principals with regard to product flow
Utilize available space for organized WIP Storage and manufacturing supplies.
Properly maintain and store oils (New, Recycled, Waste and Recyclable).
Maintain housekeeping and organization of the Mix Room.
Perform Daily / Shift inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors, service areas and others with a need to know.
Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
Maintain knowledge of and show compliance with all required Safety protocol and procedures.
Qualifications
Forklift Certification
HS Diploma or GED
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
