Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports the company’s revenue and profit targets
- Effectively prospect for new dealers while developing existing dealer and key account relationships
- Regularly conduct product and sales training for dealer personnel
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects, and be available and responsive to customers’ real-time needs
- Complete sales activity reports and prepare presentations in a timely manner
- Travel as required to develop and grow business in the assigned territory, and to several national events
- Self-starter with a demonstrated strong work ethic
- Conduct annual sales plans and prepare rolling forecasts with dealers
- Build long-term, productive and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new dealers and decision-makers without reliance on excessive client entertainment
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent industry experience.
Experience:
- Must be able to thrive in a team atmosphere with a positive “can-do” attitude
- Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification
- Proven history of effective territory and dealer management by meeting sales targets and generating increased revenue
- 5 + years selling capital equipment or retail vehicles to an independent network of dealers.
- Prior experience training and developing independent dealer sales personnel is a must.
- Experienced working within a CRM-based activity / accountability platform
- Ability to travel extensively within an assigned territory

Compensation
- Annual Base Salary negotiable based on experience
