Job Title: Marketing Director
Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer
Job Purpose: Manage the marketing initiatives of BTC Bank, a billion-dollar financial institution with 24 locations and recognized as the #1 Ag Bank in Missouri. This role supports the Chief Marketing Officer in executing strategic marketing plans to enhance brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and contribute to the bank’s continued growth and success across its regional footprint.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the (CMO) to develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with BTC Bank’s mission and business goals.
- Compile and analyze customer and industry data to create segmented marketing strategies designed to meet established goals.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable marketing campaigns.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance.
- Manage the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns; including digital, social media, print, promotional events, etc.
- Proofread and approve all content (digital, print, social, etc.) to ensure it is technically correct, authentically represents the BTC Bank brand and meets compliance requirements.
- Track campaign performance using analytical tools and adjust strategies for optimal results.
- Manage campaign budgets to ensure optimal ROI and fiscal stewardship of bank resources.
- Ensure digital marketing efforts, including website content, social media, digital displays/signage, are optimized for Engagement, Reach, SEO, GEO, PPC, etc.
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Coordinate and streamline marketing technology to monitor, execute, manage, and optimize department work across all channels.
- Strengthen and protect the BTC Bank brand, ensuring consistency and integrity across all marketing channels and platforms.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms including print, digital, social media, and in-branch materials.
- Communicate with bank branch staff to ensure their marketing needs are effectively met, including the growth and engagement of their individual Facebook pages.
- Coordinate bank-wide and state-wide marketing events to promote community engagement and bank growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, promotions, and customer communications.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Team.
- Use a workflow management system to ensure tasks are completed and goals met.
- Keep up with issues, trends and developments of the financial marketing industry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or closely related field.
- Five to seven years of experience in a senior marketing role for a financial institution, agriculture industry or marketing agency.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and business growth.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and marketing analytics, with a track record of leveraging these channels to drive results.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong proof-reading skills, and highly organized.
- Experienced brand storyteller with a keen eye for authentic, engaging design.
- Possess a strong command of modern marketing technologies and industry research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex information to various audiences.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot), and AirTable workflow management system.
- Deep understanding of Missouri agriculture.
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in a typical bank office setting. Certain bank-related security protocols will apply.
- This role will occasionally work outside, evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to up to 50lbs and requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- The ability to drive a pickup truck and tow a large box trailer is desired.
