Department: Early Childhood Education 
Reports To: Director of Education                             

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Length of work year: 12 months 

 

 

 

PURPOSE OF JOB: 

Assist with managing daily and weekly staffing needs, ensure proper implementation and maintenance of School Family practices, and accurately and promptly update designated databases.

 

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and share the Weekly Staffing Schedule to designate groups, including assignments for PRN staff.

  • Support Education PRN staff through the onboarding process, and continue supervising their work performance according to the center’s policies and procedures.

  • Promptly communicate daily absences to the designated group upon receipt of notice.

  • Support center-wide scheduling of lunch breaks for ratio staff.  Communicate any areas of need and identify staff members who can help.

  • Support Education PRN staff through the onboarding process, and continue supervising their work performance according to the center’s policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain a system to record compliance data and best practices, highlighting key moments and achievements. The portfolio will help evaluate the program's successes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure written Professional Development Plans are appropriately implemented and delivered.

  • Ensure 30-, 60-, and 90-day new employee reviews have been completed and documented.

  • Enter Professional Development data in the Missouri Professional Development System: Early Connections, before and after scheduled events.

  • Assist in developing Professional Development agendas.

  • Foster a sense of community and collaboration by implementing and supporting various center initiatives, including developing and maintaining School Family Boards, Kindness Trees, and Wish-Well Boards, and organizing center-wide Celebrations.

  • Provide updated education programming communication, including calendar updates, policy updates, and upcoming events.

  • Ensure the intranet reflects current policies, procedures, and practices implemented in Early Childhood Education and Licensed spaces.

  • Update Missouri Accreditation Waiver Quarterly.

  • Update the Missouri Accreditation Staffing Roster quarterly by identifying positions and ensuring the official transcript reflects identified roles and criteria.

  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • An associate degree with core studies in a related field or a minimum of 5 years of confirmed employment in a closely aligned position, preferred.
