About the position: 

We are seeking an experienced, sales-driven, 360-desk executive recruiter with a strong track record in placing finance and HR leaders within the life sciences sector. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role for a self-starter who thrives in a relationship-focused environment. The ideal candidate brings a proven book of business, deep industry relationships, and a passion for connecting talent with opportunity. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and manage client relationships with life sciences companies, with a focus on finance and HR placements 
  • Leverage your existing book of business to generate new staffing engagements and consulting opportunities 
  • Source, screen, and present qualified candidates for contract (time and materials), contract-to-hire, and direct hire roles 
  • Partner with internal recruiting teams and delivery resources to fulfill client needs quickly and effectively 
  • Negotiate terms of placement and contracts with both clients and candidates 
  • Stay current on market trends within life sciences and corporate functional areas 

Requirements

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 7–10 years in recruiting and/or staffing, with a strong focus on finance and HR positions.  
  • Proven track record in client development and sales within the life sciences sector.  
  • Established relationships within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.  
  • Demonstrated ability to originate, expand, and manage a profitable book of business.  
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate functions, including FP&A, accounting, talent acquisition, HR business partnering, payroll, and related disciplines.  
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.  
  • Experienced in utilizing CRM and ATS platforms, including Bullhorn. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience working in an executive search firm, staffing agency or consulting firm. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
