The Role

As a Strategy Intern at FreshDirect, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s strategic planning and business growth efforts. You’ll work closely with the Strategy team to conduct market and competitor research, analyze performance data, and assist in shaping key business initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in building presentations for senior leadership, tracking KPIs, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive strategic projects forward. It’s a unique opportunity to gain real-world exposure to the inner workings of a fast-paced, customer-focused e-grocery business.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning.
• Analyze internal performance data and identify trends, opportunities, or risks.
• Assist in building presentations and strategy documents for leadership.
• Support strategic projects from ideation through implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on key initiatives.
• Track KPIs and contribute to reporting on strategic goals and outcomes.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders and summarize key takeaways.

What You Bring 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Previous internship or coursework in strategy, consulting, or business analysis.
• Experience with tools such as Tableau, SQL, or Excel modeling.
• Interest in corporate strategy, growth initiatives, or innovation.

·         The expected compensation for this role is($23.00 to $26.00) per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
