The Bartlett Tree Research Laboratory (Charlotte, NC) is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Facilities & Maintenance team. This position entails working with a variety of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems situated within multiple buildings and across the 350-plus-acre property.

• Installation and repair of new and existing irrigation systems.
• Repair/replacement of light bulbs, light fixtures, receptacles, and switches on various electrical systems.
• Maintenance of sinks, faucets, and water closets on various plumbing systems.
• Maintenance of fencing and automatic gate controls.
• Maintenance of multiple heating and air conditioning systems.
• Maintenance of multiple water wells.
• Small engine operation and repair. 

• Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the designated supervisor or local manager.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a vaild driver's license.
• Must be able to work in outdoor conditions year-round.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willing to learn, and is capable of asking questions without hesitation.
