As a Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting dental care delivery, ensuring seamless patient experiences, and assisting the dental hygienist with routine preventive dental services. You will help set up portable mobile dental equipment, provide chairside assistance as needed, and educate patients on oral hygiene.

As a Dental Assistant, you will:
- Prepare Treatment Rooms and Patients – Set up treatment areas by following protocols, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection control policies.
- Assist During Procedures – Support the dental hygienist by passing instruments, suctioning, and positioning materials to ensure smooth procedures and optimal patient care.
- Perform Diagnostic and Preventive Tasks – Take radiographs, clean removable appliances, and assist the dental hygienist with charting and notes.
- Educate and Support Patients – Provide oral hygiene instructions, plaque control education, and post-procedure guidance to promote long-term dental health.
- Maintain Equipment and Records – Ensure the safety, functionality, and compliance of all dental instruments, maintain accurate patient documentation, and uphold confidentiality standards.
This job also requires:
- High school diploma required.
- Certified Dental Assistant training required.
- 3+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Proficiency in dental health maintenance, sterilization, and infection control techniques.
- Experience using dental technology and electronic health record systems, such as Open Dental, Dentrix/Dexis.
- Ability to pass state-mandated background check.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors.
