ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage day-to-day search engine marketing activities including building and managing bidding strategies, quality score improvements, ad copywriting, testing and optimization, keyword research, budget forecasting, campaign reporting and analysis, and continuous program improvement.
- Manage and allocate the SEM budget effectively and to expectations.
- Identify, diagnose, develop, and implement new optimization strategies to meet business objectives and goals.
- Responsible for effectively communicating SEM strategies, performance insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
- Prepare and present reports regularly and at designated intervals.
- Accountable for applying critical thinking to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable SEM strategies that drive business results.
- Proactively identify and recommend process improvements to enhance team productivity and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, competitors, and platform updates to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with external teams (SEO, content, social media, developers, etc.) to ensure cohesive strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
- Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
- Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
- Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Proven background in Search Engine Marketing, Pay-Per-Click advertising, as well as analytics and reporting platforms such as Tableau and GA4.
- Displays knowledge of Search Engine Marketing best practices and current trends.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytics, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills; including the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Convincing personality who embodies ideas, energy, courage, and values and who is an accepted partner for all relevant levels of internal and external management.
- Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, products, competitors, and leading supplier/customer strategies.
- Analytical skills for assessing strengths and weaknesses of Search Engine Marketing programs and related results.
- Good working knowledge of marketing, ecommerce, and the electronics distribution industry, preferably with a multi-national organization.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or minimum of 3 years prior work experience that is relevant to the team you will manage. Including:
- Internal candidates: Minimum 2 years as a highly performing Mouser Team Lead or Supervisor.
- External candidates: Minimum 3 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position
- Minimum 5 years of Search Engine Marketing experience.
