Position Summary:
Medical Guardian is seeking a results-driven Manager of Warehouse Operations to lead and oversee operations at our Sharon Hill warehouse. This role is responsible for managing fulfillment staff, driving operational excellence, and ensuring smooth execution of all order processing, reverse logistics, inventory management, and quality control. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong vendor management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for meeting and exceeding service-level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop warehouse staff to ensure peak performance, engagement, and adherence to company standards.
- Fulfillment Operations: Oversee daily operations including order pick, pack, and ship; reverse logistics; and returns processing to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Quality Control & Assurance: Implement and monitor QC processes to ensure all outbound and returned products meet company quality standards.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with and oversee third-party vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality services.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory tracking and reporting; work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stock availability and integrity.
- KPI & SLA Performance: Establish, monitor, and report on key warehouse metrics to ensure SLAs are met or exceeded.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Operations, Customer Care, and Supply Chain to address challenges, improve workflows, and enhance the member experience.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and improve throughput.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while fostering a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics management; experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
- At least 2+ years of experience managing and developing teams to drive engagement and accountability.
- Demonstrated experience managing reverse logistics and quality assurance processes.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving operational KPIs and meeting SLAs.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and compliance requirements in a warehouse environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)
- Availability to work on-site 5 days per week and adapt schedule as needed for operational demands.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30lbs in a warehouse environment.
