About the role

The Enterprise Architect is a thought leader and passionate technology professional whose mission is to drive  strategic  opportunities within our key accounts. This architect will leverage their experience with traditional data centers and applications to help the client overcome challenges as they continue their cloud journey.

As a Field Architect Sr you will:

• Serve as the “6th man” (Not sure people will understand that – Maybe use Liaison?) at a key client – acting as an extension of their own team
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert in strategic growth areas, instilling knowledge and best practices into our regional sales and technical teams.
• Be a change agent for our clients – suggest to add a little to this.   Change agent driving innovation to meet business needs leveraging technology.
• Act as a thought leader in the greater community and connect with like-minded professionals across our client and partner networks to foster business development opportunities.
• Produce written, visual and demonstration quality collateral and materials supporting region’s key accounts

What we’re looking for

• A technologist at heart
• A passion to be on a whiteboard helping the customer solve challenges

• At least 5 years of experience with software development and architecture/design patterns
• At least 4 years managing an enterprise-wide architecture (Roadmaps, Communications, Updates, Visio, Mind Mapping)
• At least 2 years of experience with one or more of Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet utilized for deploying both on-premises and cloud platforms
• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise storage, compute, network, data protection, and/or load-balancing architectures
• At least 3 years of experience with one or more cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
