We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager that can hit the ground running.
The successful Assistant Property Manager will work with the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property. The successful candidate will provide customer service to residents and visitors, complete annual tenant income certifications, take initiative and provide direction to staff.
The successful candidate will have 2 years of working knowledge and experience with affordable housing programs, specifically HUD and/or LIHTC properties. Neary Lagoon is a 103-unit affordable community in Santa Cruz, CA with family-sized apartment homes. (This position does not come with housing.)

Pay: $22.00 - 24.00/hour DOE

Duties:
- Enters data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
- Assists with resident records documentation.
- Collects rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
- Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
- Responds to customer services requests.
- May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Adhere to complex regulatory requirements.
- Maintain resident account receivable ledgers under supervision.
