SAP Payroll FI Integration Analyst

This role sits in the Delivery team within Government Shared Services
About the team
This newly established team’s purpose is to
support the delivery of the strategic roadmap to consolidate and harmonise
shared services operations and systems across the NSW public sector.
Involving the consolidation of ERP systems
and processes, IT service and incident management and travel and expense
management, the program will lead to a better employee experience and enable
more efficient sector mobility. Additionally, common, streamlined and efficient
processes will allow our people to better focus on our customers.
The SAP Payroll FI Integration Analyst will
Identify, analyse and facilitate improvements to business systems, processes
and workflows aligned with the overall business and strategic requirements and
the Department’s operational plans.
Your day-to-day
Reporting to HCM Delivery Lead - Government Shared Services, your role will:
- Design tools and implement processes to identify, analyse and facilitate improvements to business systems, processes and workflows aligned with the overall business unit requirements and the Department’s operational plans.
- Manage the development, facilitation, coordination and communication of initiatives and strategies applying best practice methodologies to ensure organisational consistency and improved business performance
- Provide proactive and evidence-based advice and reports to the functional leads and Delivery Director to ensure the proposed solution considers the business requirements, identifies change impacts, and considers the sustainability of the recommended solution.
- Liaise with the internal customers and stakeholders to review and monitor effectiveness of tools, systems, methods and standards to ensure consistency and quality of outcomes
- Support business users and test team with testing activities including updating test scripts and performing testing to ensure the solution meets requirements.
- Manage and co-ordinate planning and processes to ensure all critical business functionality is tested and a quality system is delivered and accepted by key stakeholders
- Support data migration team with data mapping and business team with data validation and verification.
- Perform cutover activities as required to ensure smooth transition to operations.
To be successful in this role you will
demonstrate:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent knowledge of SAP Payroll and integrations to finance
- Knowledge of public sector HCM Payroll and related Finance practices
- Good understanding of testing and data migration methodologies
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Capability to perform data mapping, data reconciliations and investigate issues
- Capability to perform structured testing and support end users in user acceptance testing
- Understanding of HCM (Hire to Retire, Time to Pay) processes
Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at 129,464 base plus superannuation
