Hybrid Equity Research Analyst at Berenberg

For our Research division in London we are looking to hire a:Equity Research Analyst, ChemicalsWho are we looking for? Berenberg’s top-10-Extel-ranked chemicals team is searching for a VP candidate (4-6 years’ plus experience) to cover European and US stocks, and assist the team head. The successful applicant will have: High productivity: quick, accurate thinking and writing skills. The ability to work autonomously and enter a flow state without falling prey to distractions. Experience in financial modelling and valuation in Excel – an appreciation of what drives earnings up-grade and downgrade cycles, and how geopolitics moves shares. Helpful but not essential: experience in materials/industrials. Helpful but not essential: European or Chinese language skills.Helpful but not essential: Python or other programming skillsWhat will you do? Become the go-top person for investors in your stocks. Tasks include:Conduct research on companies within the chemicals sector.
