Regional Maintenance Technician
Salary: $26.00+ based on experience
Location: Pittsburgh and surrounding areas (occasional travel to northern PA, southern WV, and eastern Ohio)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Maintenance Technician. This person should be comfortable with travel throughout Western PA as well as occasional travel as far north as Franklin, PA, and as far south as Charleston, WV. The right candidate will be motivated to contribute to and work with a collaborative team and have intermediate to advanced skills in trades including carpentry and light construction, electrical, and plumbing.

Duties and responsibilities of the Regional Maintenance Technician:
- Work with the Director of Maintenance and Regional Managers to obtain bids for proposed work to be done at the properties
- Assist Site Maintenance and Contractors in the repair of major building components
- Complete repairs to building systems and building components
- Oversee outside contractors and vendors that perform work at the properties
- Complete property inspections with twenty (20) or more units at least semi-annually
- Complete Inspection Report
- Complete Pre-REAC inspections at the properties with Director of Maintenance
- Attend REAC inspections as scheduled
- Report any site deficiencies or concerns to the Director of Maintenance, Regional Managers
- Report property staff concerns to the Human Resource Manager and Regional Manager
Qualifications for the Regional Maintenance Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school or Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Building Maintenance
- Experience with Building Mechanical Systems (boilers, HVAC, fire suppression systems, etc.)
- HUD/Section 8 Experience preferred
- Ability to utilize computers and technology to complete daily tasks
- Willingness to travel in PA, WV and OH
- Ability to work well with others
- Valid drivers license and auto insurance, ability to use personal vehicle for work (reimbursement provided)
