Hybrid Instructional Assistant- Special Ed- 35 Hours/Week - Creekside HS (Outside Candidates) at Irvine Unified School District

The Irvine Unified School District comprises a diverse population of more than 36,000 PK-12 students in one early childhood learning center, 24 elementary schools, five K-8 schools, six middle schools, five high schools and one alternative high school. Under the supervision ofthe Principal, assists instructional personnel in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in an assigned classroom or other learning environment; may provide a variety of instructional and behavior support to individual students one-on-one; assists in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; provides routine clerical support and performs related work as required. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience working with children in educational or organized setting. Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.

The beginning salary is $20.61 per hour. There are 6 steps to the salary scale reaching $25.69 after annual increases.
