Shift Information:
The position is full time; working 7a-7p, three shifts per week.
Currently offering a $7,500 sign on bonus for qualifying full time LVNs.

What you will do:
This LVN position performs clerical and telephone duties; enters physician orders and patient charges into the computer; coordinates the services and supplies from other departments; and assists the primary nurse in the delivery of safe patient/family centered care. This position also requires recognition and interpretation of alarms on the EKG monitoring system; handles potentially stressful situations and multiple tasks simultaneously; and receives, understands and reports the results of medical tests and treatments to the primary nurse.
Required Education:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Computer entry, fax, telephone etiquette, customer service, recognition of dysrhythmias, ability to multitask

Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Current Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse

Required Experience:
One year nursing experience in a hospital setting. Basic EKG course within 6 months of employment.
