Sales Development Rep

 

Job Summary

The Sales Development Rep is a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our RedSail team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating new business leads and driving revenue growth through outbound sales efforts. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, building relationships and identifying opportunities to sell our innovative pharmacy solutions. 

 

Key Duties

  • The Sales Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound initiatives
  • Execute creative outbound prospecting
  • Leverage sales tools such as Microsoft Teams, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator to network with potential customers
  • Gain business knowledge through researching how the independent pharmacy industries operate, leadership structures, and pain points and challenges our clients face each day
  • Execute the required prospecting activity to meet lead goals
  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Record all lead activities and conduct qualifying discovery calls
  • Answer initial customer questions and send additional information through follow-up phone calls or email
  • Broaden your knowledge of our sales process, proactively working with the sales team and sales director to improve your role and potential customers’ experiences
  • Collaborate with Sales Team on qualified meetings.

 

Education/Training

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Required Work Experience/Skills

  • 1+ years of customer service experience required.
  • Strong Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in using Windows operating system.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey them over the phone
  • Willingness to try new concepts and open to coaching
  • Proficient with MS Office and Google Docs

Physical Demands, Working Conditions, and General Employment Guidelines

  • Moderate or elevated levels of stress may be experienced in the performance of the job
  • Position is performed in a general office environment, home office, or approved remote workspace where physical work includes sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs.

 

Equipment

  • Daily use of the Microsoft Teams (phone), computer, printer, and other routine office equipment
  • Must have internet access, which may be reimbursed by the Company according to the policy

 

Safety to Self and Others

  • Little responsibility for safety of others. Job is performed in an office setting where there are no hazardous materials or equipment
