Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

 

Job Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning HR Strategy with business objectives. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees.  The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business, its culture, and its competition.

 

Essential Job Functions

·    Consult monthly/as needed with Business Unit Leaders to assist other functional areas achieve their goals

·    Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

·    Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

·    Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

·    Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

·    Develop and nurture partnerships through human resources to bridge the divide between management and employees

·    Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

·    Provides input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning

·    Identifies training needs for business units and individual professional development.

·    Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.

·    Manage Employment File Audit Process for Joint Commission and AHCA compliance

·    Responsible for Full Employee Life Cycle which includes Benefits, Performance Management, Worker’s Compensation, Leaves of Absence, etc.

·    Perform other related duties as required

 

Job Requirements

 

Education:

·    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field

 

Experience:

·    Minimum of 5 to 7 years' human resources experience in a mid-size health organization preferred

·    Experience resolving complex employee relations issues

 

Licenses/Certifications:

·    NA
