Title:  Line Unloader

Reports to: Paint Line Supervisor

Department: Paint Room

Position Summary:

Since 1961, the Wellborn family has owned and operated Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. The goal is to provide kitchen and bath cabinets crafted by dedicated Wellborn employees with the utmost quality and care. Today, over 55 years later, the product line has broadened to include cabinetry and storage solutions to help maximize the total home living space. This role will employ care and organizational skill to continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living.

 

The incumbent in this position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Paint Room.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unloads various products from the paint line by stacking properly on a stack board.
  • Communicates with Parts Mover when the pallet is complete.
  • Communicates with Lead Person/Supervisor on issues with stapling the product which will impact the paint line
  • Assists co-workers on the assembly line as needed.

  • Ability to remove staples and stack product rapidly.
  • Must be a self-starter who works well under pressure and can follow daily work assignments.
  • Possesses a willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.

 

Education and Experience

  • Experience removing staples and stacking products.

Position has recurring work situations that involve having a high attention to detail and service results. It is important that Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. Safety protocols be followed as a guide for operational direction. Failing to follow prescribed guidelines will waste resources and adversely impact performance.

 

Working Conditions:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
