Summary of Job Description:
Incumbent in this position manages GIS Services, Enterprise GIS Server Implementations and associated Adobe Flex and JavaScript Web Applications in an MS SQL Server Database environment. Incumbent also coordinates with staff to manage user access and train system users and editors. Incumbent also uses GIS applications to provide custom analysis, mapping and data support.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with the ESRI Government Data Model
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS web development tools
- Experience managing GIS databases and GIS services in an MS SQL Server database
- Experience with AutoCAD Software
- Computer networking experience
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Technical report writing skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, GIS Technology, Engineering Technology or related degree
- Two (2) years of experience in GIS web development
- Two (2) years of experience in GIS analysis, design and implementation using ESRI ArcGIS Server software
