Join our IT Operations Team
As a key part of IT Operations, you will manage the server and storage infrastructure that supports our trading business. This includes trading systems located at global exchanges running on overclocked servers, FPGAs, and low-latency network hardware.
Our environment includes a range of physical and hypervisor platforms, on-prem SAN/NAS storage (Hitachi, Dell, HP), as well as cloud storage and cloud compute. Precision timing systems ensure accurate synchronisation essential to our trading operations.
Who you are:
- You are curious and proactive, and spot issues before they escalate.
- You are detail-oriented with strong reasoning skills, and you think several steps ahead.
- You respond quickly and confidently to problems, adapting solutions on the fly.
- With 5+ years in a similar role, you bring experience and precision to complex environments.
What you’ll do:
- Ownership of Linux server and storage environments at Vivcourt
- Manage hardware lifecycles, plan capacity, and build high-performance systems
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise outcomes and troubleshoot issues
- Continuously improve automation, monitoring, metrics, and backup strategies to improve operational capability and keep infrastructure reliable and scalable.
- Conduct research and testing and share ideas to create solutions where nanoseconds make a difference.
