Job Description:

The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Credit Assessment team in Adelaide.

As a Credit Assessment Officer, you will provide support to Front Line Lending staff, Broker Division and Business Banking in assessing credit risk for consumer, and business applications.

In the role you will

  • Assessment of consumer applications for credit in accordance with Beyond Bank’s Lending Policies.
  • Help achieve and monitor decision turn-around times meeting Beyond Bank’s objectives.
  • Contribute and identify potential risk issues and make recommendations to alter Beyond Bank’s Lending Policies, process or work practices to reduce risk.
  • Develop and strengthen skill sets using shared knowledge with peers and Lending Consultants.
  • Provide expertise on specific enquiries, offer solutions and alternatives when possible.
Qualifications:

About you

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. 
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a lending background or related discipline.

By joining the Credit Assessment team (MCT) you will be involved in the day-to-day assessment of loan applications submitted by Loan consultants and Third-party Brokers.  In addition, MCT reviews Valuations, Security Changes and assesses Business Banking applications.

The MCT mission statement is “to be a quality service provider to the Group” and our main role is to support the Network and be available to assist with knowledge and coaching around process and credit risk matters.
