Senior Research Scientist & EUV Program Manager

In this role you will drive breakthrough semiconductor innovation at America's first CHIPS for America R&D Flagship Facility, leading advanced research initiatives while managing EUV Accelerator programs that enable member access to cutting-edge lithography capabilities.
Every day you will conduct cutting-edge research, manage complex EUV programs, and foster collaboration across the semiconductor ecosystem to accelerate technological advancement through both hands-on innovation and strategic program leadership.
To thrive in this role you must combine deep technical expertise with program management excellence, demonstrating the ability to both drive sophisticated research and orchestrate member engagement with EUV capabilities.

This position plays a dual role in advancing semiconductor innovation through hands-on research and EUV program leadership. The role requires sophisticated technical expertise combined with strong program management capabilities to drive breakthrough innovations while ensuring successful member engagement with EUV Accelerator initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead advanced semiconductor research initiatives
• Manage EUV Accelerator member programs
• Drive silicon execution at Albany NanoTech facility
• Develop novel fabrication techniques and processes
• Coordinate member access to EUV capabilities
• Oversee EUV program delivery and execution
• Foster collaboration with industry partners
• Publish research findings and secure patents
• Guide cross-functional technical teams
• Represent Natcast in scientific forums
• Ensure alignment with member needs
• Drive EUV program adoption and success
Required Skills and Experience:
• Ph.D. or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
• 10+ years semiconductor R&D experience
• Strong expertise in advanced lithography
• Experience with silicon execution
• Excellence in process integration
• Strong program management capabilities
• Publication and patent track record
• Experience with EDA methodologies
• Demonstrated research leadership
• Hands-on fabrication experience
• Member/customer engagement expertise
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• EUV lithography experience
• SiView SM/MM MES experience
• Consortium research background
• Public-private partnership experience
• Complex program management expertise
• Industry collaboration track record
