Position Summary:

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of inventory control across the organization. This role ensures that materials, equipment, and supplies are accurately tracked, received, distributed, and stored in a timely and organized manner. The Inventory Coordinator maintains inventory records, oversees warehouse operations, and supports the service team by ensuring required parts and equipment are available when needed. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, accuracy of stock levels, and supporting inventory-related processes company-wide.


Position Responsibilities:

· Conduct the pricing and placement of equipment and supply orders.

· Manage the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and distribution of stock, while maintaining an organized and safe storage environment.

· Conduct periodic manual inventory counts across all company locations and reconcile with system records.

· Record and maintain accurate inventory transactions in the accounting and inventory management systems.

· Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking to ensure material availability for service operations.

· Maintain consistent communication with Service Managers and Field Supervisors regarding parts availability and inventory needs.

· Track backordered or special-order items and follow up with vendors as needed.

· Complete Sedona task management functions related to inventory.

· Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures for inventory handling and documentation.

· Perform other inventory-related tasks and duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:

· Warehouse/Inventory management skills

· Experience in the security industry

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Proficient computer skills

· Strong time management skills

· Ability to work with confidential matters

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work in a team environment

· AA Degree or equivalent working experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

· Public Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

· Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

· Education and Training - Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.

· Dependability - Knowledge and willingness to follow a certain schedule, be consistent with communication with other departments, and have an overall sense of accountability towards the position.

· Positive attitude - Be able to come in every day with a smile and look forward to completing a day’s work.

· Stress Tolerance - Knowledge of how to diffuse certain situations effectively and efficiently, not let yourself become overwhelmed, and still provide good work.
