Job Summary:

The Global Senior Product Management Manager will oversee the product lifecycle from concept to

launch, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet market demands and drive

Burlington Medical's strategic goals. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional

teams, including operations, marketing, finance, sales (direct and distributors), training, and customer

care, to develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

· Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's

overall goals and market opportunities.

· Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify product

trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

· Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business value, customer needs,

and competitive advantage.

· Provide guidance on product positioning, pricing, and differentiation strategies.

Product Development and Management:

· Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and ongoing

enhancements.

· Utilize Stage-Gate process for new product and services development and following a project plan. Ensuring cross-functional alignment, timely execution, milestone tracking, communicate progress and risk to Senior Leadership.

 · Manage the product development backlog and prioritize work based on strategic importance and impact. 

· Manage consultants and vendors as needed to coordinate and achieve planned deliverables on schedule. 

· Develop go-to-market strategies and coordinate activities to maximize product success. Collaborate with Global Product Marketing on execution, including product launches, messaging, training, and collateral development.

 · Produce performance dashboards and reports to support product decisions and product rationalization and recommend changes, pricing strategies and product improvements. 

· Utilize the Product and Pricing SOP and collaborate with Product and Pricing Analyst to capture competitive pricing, cost GPM and pricing to obtain the appropriate review and approvals.

 · Provide Product Marketing and Marketing Communications with product content including descriptions, options, specifications (e.g., dimensions, weight), features/benefits, and strategic messaging for use across all platforms. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

· Work closely with Marketing Communication, Product Marketing, Product and Pricing Analyst, Sales, Training, and Customer Care teams to ensure successful product launches.

 · Communicate product plans, progress, and changes to stakeholders and senior leadership.

 · Work closely with Marketing Communications and Product Marketing to support the website and digital campaign content. 

· Partner with Product Marketing, Sales (Direct and Distributors), Sales Enablement and Training to delivery of product training. 

· Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure products meet compliance requirements; maintain up-to-date product certifications and documentation available for customers. 

Customer and Market Insights: 

· Engage with customers, partners, KOLs, and industry experts to gather insights and feedback. 

· Work with sales, global product marketing and customer service to gather and analyze customer feedback and identify opportunities for product improvement or innovation.

 · Analyze user data and conduct internal and external surveys to inform product decisions. 

· Maintain ongoing competitive analysis and actionable insights to strengthen product positioning and maintain market leadership. 

· Monitor product performance and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. 

· Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to measure product success and identify areas of improvement. Team Leadership and Development: 

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.

 · Foster a collaborative, fast paced and high-performance team culture. 

· Set clear goals and expectations and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.

Financial Management: 

· Develop and manage annual product budgets and forecasts.

 · Track and report on product performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

 · Initiate sales initiatives and product campaigns to drive awareness and revenue. Recommend actionable initiatives based on product group performance and direct and distributor sales. 

Qualifications: 

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

 · 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

 · Proven track record of successfully managing and launching complex products in a fast-paced environment. 

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. 

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. 

· Deep understanding of product development and stage-gate processes. 

· Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 

· Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback mechanisms. 

· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 

Working Conditions: 

· The position can be remote or based in our headquarters office located in Newport News, VA. 

· Sometimes required to work in our production and warehouse facilities.

 · At least 25% travel required. 

Physical Requirements: 

· Ability to work in a seated position throughout the workday at a typical office desk. 

· Keyboarding and entering text into a computer and using a mouse for primary input. 

· Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish in-person and phone speech and/or other sounds (e.g., computer notifications, building alarms). Ability to use a headset for verbal communication with customers utilizing Microsoft Teams. 

· Clarity of vision for use of computer displays. 

· Ability to execute tasks independently. 

· Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
