Description: Responsible for safe and efficient mounting and dismounting of tires to/from vehicles while operating machinery and power tools safely and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Pulls vehicles into tire bays, lifts vehicles, removes wheels/tires being serviced and dismounts tire/wheel.*
operates lifts, forklifts, torches, power wrenches, floor jacks, tire machine and tire balancer.*
Places wheel on balancer to determine weights required to balance wheel; puts required weights onto rims.*
Fills tires in accordance with correct vehicle specs.*
Remounts tires/wheels onto vehicles.*
Mounts tires and wheels on vehicle in a timely and accurate manner.*
Inventory system and locates merchandise as needed.*
Move vehicles and merchandise without damaging vehicles, merchandise, people or property.*
Prepares, Organizes, maintains and inventories tires and wheels accurately and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.*
Keeps accurate inventory of shop supplies and notifies management of low stock levels.*
Keeps accurate records and log of vehicle serviced information.*
Assists all customers and co-workers while being polite and courteous at all times.*
Follows all safety policies and procedures.*

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license

While doing this job the employee will be primarily on their feet for long periods of time.The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. For heavier merchandise lifting devices and/or assistance is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. This is a smoke free environment for safety reasons.
