What You'll Do:

  • Provide critical support to Brockton Housing Authority (BHA) tenants at risk of losing housing due to age-related challenges or behavioral health needs:  
  • Assess tenant needs and design intervention strategies with multidisciplinary teams.  
  • Mediate disputes, provide short-term counseling, and link tenants to mental health/social services.  
  • Coordinate with BHA, DMH, and DPH to address lease violations and stabilize tenancies.  
  • Organize community education programs and support Tenant Associations.  
  • Maintain timely documentation and comply with all clinical and safety standards.  

 

What You Bring:   

  • Education: Bachelor's in human services (Master's in Social Work preferred) OR HS diploma/GED + substantial experience with elderly/special needs populations.  
  • Skills: Crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management expertise.  
  • Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and cultural sensitivity.
