Ultimately responsible for positive customer relations, developing and maintaining existing and new customer relationships at all levels including the executive level in their efforts to properly scope projects, estimate work effort and timelines, develop detail project plans while defining critical milestones, payment structure, dependencies, project risks and appropriate staffing plan required to manage and successfully deliver the project. Achieves positive economic results aligned with the original projects estimates and profitability on all assigned projects through appropriate management of resources, risks and scope. Provides adequate coaching to the project teams to insure success. Analyzes project schedules and identifies, quantifies, manages and controls project risks throughout each projects lifecycle. Builds credible customer relationships through track record of success to ensure positive customer references at each of their assigned projects or accounts. Can independently develop solutions or plan of action to solve tough problems related to project, products and staffing. Escalates issues appropriately internally and externally based on the critical nature of the problem and authority required to get results. Consulted by senior executives or clients while implementing critical business process changes. Delivers quantifiable value to customers; proactively communicates with customers (executive level) and resolves any escalated problems or issues. Develops effective cross-functional relationships within services and the broader JDA business to ensure the overall success of customer projects. Effectively articulates how key decisions provided by the different JDA solutions impact the client's bottom line. Effectively balances the skill growth and development of team members while balancing and delivering on project commitments. Effectively evaluates team member performance through participation the formal performance review process as required. Also identifies and address performance issues on a real time basis. Ensures compliance with internal and external company policies and procedures. Ensures the overall success of multiple projects by guiding and leading Project Managers, Consulting Managers and/or Solution Architects. Has an in-depth understanding of value provided by JDA solutions. Identifies opportunities to extend value received, and defines strategy to execute. Negotiates profitable agreements for consulting services with all assigned customers. Other duties as directed by the line manager. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or overall business activities. Responsible for getting customer agreement to measure value, and for identifying and documenting value received by the customer. Supports recruitment and selection process by screening resumes, conducting interviews.
