SABCA Brussels is also the home to our "Unmanned Autonomous Systems" aka: the drones solutions unit!
Mission
Sabca is a Programs-based organization. All Sabca’s activities are structured around Programs, which represent a commitment (contract) towards our Customers.
The Program Manager is an entrepreneur within Sabca having full accountability for Customer Satisfaction on the one hand, and Economical Performance on the other hand.
To achieve this balance, he/she leads a multi-functional Program Team to deliver on the approved Business Case while guaranteeing Customer Satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for customer satisfaction and economic performance of his/her Program
- Lead the multi-functional (matrix) Program Team in the planning and execution of all phases of the program lifecycle, from bid management to program closure
- Manage the commercial relation with the customer
- Ensure plans, including resource plans, are produced, maintained and communicated
- Act as the prime customer interface for his/her programs and ensuring effectiveness of bilateral communications
- Establish and maintain associated baselined schedules to ensure the understanding of time related objectives, including critical path
- Ensure all Program Management and Support function processes are diligently adhered to
- Achieve or exceed target program performance including Quality, Financial, Schedule, Environmental objectives, on both make and buy perimeter
- Set high standard of team leadership and personal/team contribution with respect to Lean Continuous Improvement and other business improvement initiatives.
- Answer Sabca and Customer requirements on environmental aspects (ISO14001)
- Establish and maintain approved technical, cost, schedule, and resource baselines
- Implement program performance measurement eg. KPIs, Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Implement risk and opportunity management
- Implement data management and configuration management processes.
Profile
- Master Engineering degree
- At least 10 years program management practice with annual contract > €25m
- Experience in delivering successful programs/projects in a matrix organisation
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with long-term Programs (development phase and serial production)
- PMP / Prince 2 program management certification or equivalent
- Aptitude for producing/assimilating business related data eg. Financial, Performance, KPIs
- Experience in creating and following business plan
- Effective leadership qualities, performance and customer oriented
- Effective at co-ordinating/motivating others with strong planning and organisational capabilities
- Process-minded
- Solution minded
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic, determined and flexible to the needs of the customer/business/team
- Highly motivated and able to establish and communicate priorities and objectives for self and team
- Work under pressure without compromise to quality
- Fluent in Dutch / French and English
- Good knowledge of MS Office and Project / SAP
