The Opportunity

Join our team as an Electronics Soldering & Rework Operator and play a hands-on role in building and repairing high-reliability electronic assemblies for mission-critical applications in aerospace, defense, and industrial systems. You'll apply your soldering expertise on advanced PCBAs and harnesses, ensuring every detail meets IPC standards and customer requirements.

This is your chance to work alongside engineers, quality professionals, and production teams in a collaborative environment where precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement matter.

What You'll Do

  • Perform soldering and rework on electronic components, CCA/PCBA assemblies, and wire harnesses.
  • Work with advanced components including fine-pitch, 0201, BGAs, and microelectronics under magnification.
  • Inspect solder joints for quality and compliance with IPC standards, drawings, and specifications.
  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain soldering and rework stations; recommend tools/equipment as needed.
  • Provide feedback to engineers on design-for-manufacturing improvements and component placement.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to identify and resolve issues while driving continuous improvement.
  • Follow ESD, safety, and cleanliness protocols to maintain compliance and reliability.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma, military avionics/electronics training, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of soldering/rework experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • IPC Certifications: IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721 (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong proficiency in both through-hole and SMT soldering; familiarity with reflow processes is a plus.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity to work with micro-components under magnification.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Problem-solving mindset, able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results and supporting team success.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Be part of projects that directly support defense, aerospace, and industrial customers worldwide.
  • Work with advanced components and technology in a high-reliability environment.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and quality experts, influencing design and manufacturability.
  • Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow your career in electronics manufacturing.
