Hybrid Server at SKYPARK AT SANTAS VILLAGE

Description

The Server plays a key role in delivering exceptional table service in the Reindeer Room, SkyPark’s exclusive speakeasy venue, through a polished presence and commitment to refined. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality, a deep appreciation for craft cocktails, and experience in refined dining environments.

You will curate a personalized and memorable guest experience through elevated service, strong product knowledge, and collaboration with the Food & Beverage and Events Teams. The Server also plays a vital role in private parties and exclusive events, supporting seamless setup, service, and breakdown.

This position is Part-Time and requires availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Server will report to the F&B Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, attentive table service with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Present and describe cocktail and food menus with confidence and clarity, offering recommendations tailored to guest preferences.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the cocktail and culinary offerings, including ingredients, pairings, and preparation methods.
• Assist in the timely and polished delivery of food and beverages, maintaining visual presentation and service flow.
• Assist with plate and drink presentation, ensuring all items align with the Reindeer Room’s aesthetic and standards.
• Upsell cocktails, food, and specials to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their visit and respond promptly to requests.
• Use the point-of-sale system to input orders accurately and handle guest checks (cash, card, and tab management).
• Verify guest age and enforce responsible alcohol service practices.
• Collaborate with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service and timing.
• Support private events and exclusive gatherings through tailored, discreet service.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining room, bar, patio, and storage areas.
• Assist the host/hostess as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Uphold SkyPark’s safety, appearance, and guest service standards.
• Provide refined and attentive service with consistency.
• Deliver accurate, engaging menu knowledge and recommendations.
• Supporting private event execution with professionalism and discretion.
• Work as a team with all SkyPark personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

• 1+ years of experience in a fine dining, lounge, or upscale restaurant server role.
• Deep knowledge of or strong interest in craft cocktails and elevated food pairings.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and guest recovery skills.
• Experience handling POS systems and processing guest checks.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment while maintaining poise and professionalism.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift trays, and move efficiently through service spaces.
• Flexible and reliable with evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required food handler and responsible beverage service certifications. 
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a dim, fast-paced environment.
