The successful bidder will work with the machine operator to set up, run and perform preventative maintenance on the machine. During the set up, he/she will assist the operator as directed. During the run, he/she will assist as needed. During PM he/she will perform cleaning, lubricating and inspection functions as directed by the operator.
SPECIAL EDUCATION SKILLS, TRAINING OR QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB: The successful bidder must be able to: * Read & understand factory cards and CAD's * Read tape measure * Perform basic math functions related to multiplication and division * Effective use of computer systems relative to the operation of the 162
* Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
The successful bidder must be able to contribute to the overall performance of the machine. He/she must be able to perform designated/assigned functions related to set up time and run speeds. The successful bidder must become proficient in die cutter skills including blanking. To be considered for this position, one year experience as a Bobst cutter assistant is required.
