Director of Technology Business Development
Location: Middleton, WI, United StatesParadigm is a software company transforming the way the residential construction and building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Director of Technology Business Development to be part of revolutionizing these industries.
We are looking for someone who can expand Paradigm�s technology ecosystem by working with best-of-breed technology providers and identifying mutually beneficial areas for collaboration, including structuring co-development opportunities. In this role, you will build and grow strategic partnerships that extend the capabilities of Paradigm�s solutions, enable new revenue streams, and deliver measurable value to our customers. You will need a sophisticated, relationship-driven approach to engage technology leaders, negotiate agreements, and guide partnerships from concept to execution.
What You Will Do:
- Identify and develop new partners � including technology providers, software platforms, and service vendors � and uncover growth opportunities within existing partnerships, leading to new and incremental revenue streams.
- Manage end-to-end partner relationships across technical, go-to-market, marketing, and executive levels, ensuring alignment and shared success.
- Work closely with partners to explore, frame, and define integration and co-development opportunities that enhance Paradigm�s product portfolio.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and deliver joint solutions, ensuring seamless technical integration and user experience.
- Track, analyze, and communicate key performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Drive post-contract accountability by managing implementation, ensuring cross-functional execution, and serving as a primary point of contact for partner organizations.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to prioritize high-value opportunities and tailor engagement strategies.
- Represent Paradigm at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings to expand our network and promote our vision.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to team members, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, development and accountability.
What You Need to Succeed:
- 6+ years of direct experience working with cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record of driving high-value marketplace and/or technology partnerships from ideation through execution.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically about business opportunities, identifying areas where Paradigm can leverage partners� existing and in-development products.
- Strong knowledge of business, strategy, product, finance, and legal concepts to structure complex, multi-faceted deals.
- Demonstrated success in exercising influence, driving consensus, and inspiring collaboration across diverse teams.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-changing environments.
- Analytical mindset with a history of using data to inform strategy and measure performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and executive audiences.
- Highly organized with experience managing multiple partnerships and initiatives concurrently.
- Willingness to travel up to ~25%, with flexibility based on business needs.
