Position Title: Tier Two Interventionist
FTE/PTE: Full-Time
Reports To: Tier Two Intervention Manager
HRS: M-F, 7:30am-4:00pm
Primary Function: To support the academic program in the classroom through small groups and assessments. May teach math classes and/or Lit Circles.
Requirements
Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Certification/License Required: Teaching license/alternative license in process
Experience: New teachers welcome to apply
Physical Activities: General physical demands such as sitting, walking, outdoor supervision
Support the academic growth needs of students, both high and low students
DIBELS test students, as needed, and monitor progress at scheduled intervals
Teach math class within a grade, if needed (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grades remedial)
Facilitate small reading groups
Proctor tests as needed and assess new incoming students
Assist with Kindergarten Orientation and Round-up
Plan and participate K & 1 Literacy events
Teach writing groups, as needed
As needed, participate in Parent-Teacher conferences
Other duties as assigned: Cover for classroom teacher, carpool, etc.
Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2025
Anticipated Starting Salary and Benefits The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000, depending on experience and skill level.
