Hybrid Tier Two Interventionist at Parker Core Knowledge

Requirements

1. Educational Level:  Bachelor’s Degree
2. Certification/License Required:  Teaching license/alternative license in process
3. Experience: New teachers welcome to apply 
4. Physical Activities:  General physical demands such as sitting, walking, outdoor supervision
5. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Flexible, analytical, strong commuication and interpersonal skills

1. Support the academic growth needs of students, both high and low students
2. DIBELS test students, as needed, and monitor progress at scheduled intervals
3. Teach math class within a grade, if needed (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grades remedial)
4. Facilitate small reading groups
5. Proctor tests as needed and assess new incoming students
6. Assist with Kindergarten Orientation and Round-up
7. Plan and participate K & 1 Literacy events
8. Teach writing groups, as needed
9. As needed, participate in Parent-Teacher conferences
10. Other duties as assigned:  Cover for classroom teacher, carpool, etc.
