Job Summary
Control, count and record casino revenue.
Essential Job Duties
- Assures that Slot/Bill Acceptor (BA) drop, and soft count functions are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
- Accurately counts casino revenue.
- Maintains accurate and legible paperwork.
- Accountable for slot machine drop boxes and the contents from the time it is removed from slot machines until it is transported to the count rooms.
- Ensures the drop is properly counted and accurately recorded.
- Informs supervisor or assistant supervisor of supplies needed to complete the duties of the job.
- Communicates effectively with management, staff, and other departments in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
- Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
- Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
- Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
- Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
- Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
Supplemental Job Duties
- Will be required to sign certain forms to provide evidence that they participated in counts and machine testing.
- Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
May be exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke-filled environment. Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds will be required. Requires significant use of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers with frequent periods of standing or sitting, reaching, kneeling, grasping and bending. Some exposure to dust and room temperature changes may be present. Requires attention to detail and alertness during an entire shift. Must keep the Casino’s business confidential.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Knowledge/Education/Work Experiences: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission. Must be able to key data into computer software accurately.
Skills/Abilities: Must be timely and accurate with assignments and able to meet deadlines. Must be able to work well in a team environment. Must be flexible with working hours and days off. Must have the ability to maintain a professional attitude toward co-workers and management. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of this position. Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.

Restrictions
This position is PROHIBITED from playing all casino games while on duty, except as authorized for employee tournaments. Otherwise, this position may play any casino game while off duty. Employees and members of the household are prohibited from entering company contests and giveaways established for our guests.
