Progressive Directions, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Family Model Providers to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this unique caregiving role, you’ll provide a safe, stable, and supportive living environment while helping each person build skills, increase independence, and live a full and meaningful life.
What You’ll Do:
* Support an people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families
* Assist with daily living needs such as meals, personal care, transportation, and community activities
* Encourage skill development, independence, and inclusion
* Maintain a safe and respectful home environment
* Follow all agency and state guidelines for care and documentation

* Ability to pass background checks, drug test and meet training requirements
* Help create a stable home environment for the person supported

Requirements
NOTICE: This position requires a criminal background check. Therefore, you may be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Tennessee, Kentucky, or Alabama driver’s license (military exceptions available).
Ability to read and follow directions.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Satisfactory criminal background check and clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Ability to attend and pass all required training courses.
Reliable transportation required.
