SUMMARY: BlackHawk Industrial is seeking a Marketing & Creative Operations Associate to support the company’s brand presence, internal marketing execution, and creative production. This high-profile, entry-level role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow their marketing skills while contributing to a wide range of projects.

You will be the go-to for brand consistency, internal communications, and marketing asset creation, ensuring our sales and leadership teams have the tools they need to engage customers effectively. While your primary focus will be on creative production and internal brand support, you will also collaborate on events, marketing campaigns, and lead-generation activities with your counterpart in Events & Digital Marketing.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
  • Responsible for promoting culture of safety
  • Create, customize, and organize flyers, product sheets, presentations, and branded materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Maintain and optimize the internal BlackHawk Market portal, ensuring marketing assets are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Uphold and enforce brand standards across all digital and print materials.
  • Prepare and send internal marketing updates and sales communications.
  • Support executive, HR, and sales leadership with creative requests and presentation materials.
  • Manage internal engagement content for social platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube.
  • Assist in the formatting, scheduling, and segmentation of email campaigns using Constant Contact.
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT) to streamline content creation and improve production efficiency.
  • Provide basic support for eCommerce UX updates (banners, imagery, layout suggestions).
  • Collaborate with the Events & Lead Generation Associate to ensure creative needs for trade shows and campaigns are met.
  • Support content creation for both pre- and post-event marketing efforts.
  • Assist in tracking creative campaign performance and preparing reports for leadership.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for company-wide campaigns and promotions.
  • Coordinate and promote new and existing marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales/lead management, event coordination, or marketing support. 
  • High-level Proficiency Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and engagement metrics.
  • Exposure to eCommerce environments and UX improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools like Constant Contact or Mailchimp.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for tracking and analytics.
  • Willingness to travel 10–15% for trade shows and events.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Rubber Tree, Salesforce, or HubSpot.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No direct supervisory responsibility.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employees are required to use computers and other equipment.
