ACTIVITY AIDES - Full Time - Regency, Niles, IL - $17 per Hour!

Generations at Regency in Niles, IL, has Immediate Openings for a Dynamic Full Time Activity Aide to work in our Memory Care/Alzheimers Unit!

New Higher Rate of $17 per hour!

Available Schedules:

Full Time, Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities of the Full Time Activity Aide:

• The Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events

• Play games and make crafts with mobile residents

• Visit bed residents on a one-to-one basis

• Participate in resident assessment and discharge planning

• May assist with resident mail delivery

Requirements

of the Full Time Activity Aide:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Event and activity planning experience
• Two (2) years of experience in Long-Term Care and Dementia Care
• Must have basic computer skills
• Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor
• Polish speaking a huge plus!
• High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
