 About Us:   At Phoenix Mecano, we’re committed to financial excellence and strategic growth. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and help drive informed decision-making across the organization. 

·       Location: Frederick, MD or Chino, CA

·       Experience: 3 years or more in corporate accounting

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

·       Analyze and manage customer data

·       Assist in the bi-weekly payroll preparation (Paylocity)

·       Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulations

·       Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts and account reconciliations 

·       Support audits and collaborate with our corporate group, auditors and TPAs

·       Promote knowledge transfer in the department and suggest efficiency recommendations

Requirements

We are looking for an individual that is curious and eager to explore new ways to improve our processes and systems. 

This position is not remote. It requires 5 days a week in the office Monday-Friday.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field is required

At least three years of previous accounting experience in a corporate setting is required
