About The Role
In this mission-critical role, you will act as a key point of contact for fostering and managing strategic partnerships between Solar Landscape and our partners in support of subscription of our community solar projects. As the primary conduit for high-level relationship development and resolution of escalated issues, you will drive seamless integration and ensure the effective delivery of subscriber benefits. Your leadership will be pivotal in building and maintaining trust-based, collaborative relationships with utility stakeholders, directly influencing the success and growth of Solar Landscape’s community solar initiatives.
Utility Relationship Management
Maintain ongoing engagement with utilities to keep lines of communication open and efficient for prompt issue resolution.
Establish structure around utility requirements and project management for new utility and new project onboarding.
Act as a liaison to the utilities for escalations required due to utility errors, delays, etc. for optimal project performance and subscriber revenue assurance.
Collaborate with utilities to ensure subscriber management systems, billing, and crediting processes align with program requirements.
Establish utility business rules for the Subscriber Operations team (eg. file exchange requirements and timelines, file types and contents, etc.)
Subscriber Organization Relationship Management
Serve as the point of contact for subscriber organizations, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and maintained.
Reconcile data and documentation, identifying inconsistencies, flagging risks, and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
Lead and document weekly synchronization meetings with subscriber organizations, holding them accountable to reporting, performance, and data-sharing requirements.
Perform analysis of subscriber data for transparency and compliance.
Act as the liaison between subscriber organizations and cross-functional internal teams (e.g., Community Engagement, Finance), facilitating smooth communication and issue resolution.
Proactively surface insights or gaps that affect contract performance or subscriber satisfaction and collaborate with internal stakeholders to address them efficiently.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Policy, Business, Energy Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
Familiarity with community solar programs and utilities.
