The Revenue Cycle Director will oversee the full spectrum of patient revenue activities, including billing, coding, collections, and insurance management. This role requires deep knowledge of healthcare regulations and payer requirements, coupled with a commitment to improving patient satisfaction through clear, patient-friendly billing practices. Leading a team of revenue cycle and administrative personnel, this position will develop strategies to maximize revenue collection and streamline operations for the products and services KPHC delivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all revenue cycle functions from start to finish.
  • Lead and mentor billing and administrative teams.
  • Partner with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers to maximize reimbursement.
  • Analyze trends, drive process improvements, and improve cash flow.
  • Implement patient-friendly billing policies.
  • Ensure compliance and audit readiness.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in revenue cycle management.
  • In-depth knowledge of billing, collections, and patient financial services in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement models, payer requirements, and revenue cycle operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of ethical decision-making and team leadership.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and insurance provider requirements.
  • Working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 and HCPCS coding systems.
