Career Opportunities: Facilities Caretaker - Lakeside (25725)
We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities Caretaker to join our team. Your opportunity to be part of a community-focused environment, a valued part of the well-established Lakeside community at Stockland Halcyon Lakeside, Bli Bli – right in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.
About the role
As our Facilities Caretaker, you’ll not only manage the upkeep of beautiful gardens, grounds and facilities, you’ll also build genuine connections with homeowners and contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll be part of a wider network of caretakers across Stockland Halcyon communities, sharing knowledge and support.
- Permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm
- Maintain and enhance gardens, grounds and recreational facilities
- Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance
- Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with safety and operational budgets
- Build strong relationships with homeowners
- Participate in caretaker meetings and complete relevant reporting
- Engage and build strong relationships with homeowners
- Manage community security and operational budgets
- Actively participate in Caretaker meetings and completion of all relevant reporting as required
About you
- Skilled in gardening, general maintenance and amenity cleaning
- Background in caretaking or maintenance within lifestyle communities, schools, parks or hotel/resorts
- Confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people
- ACDC licence for weed spraying (or willing to obtain with support)
- Basic computer skills and current First Aid certificate (refresher available)
- Full driver’s licence and own transport to/from work (work ute available during the day)
