Our opportunity

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Development Manager to join our High Forest project in West Pennant Hills. You will provide support and assistance to management in all operational aspects, as assigned, so as to further expand and enhance knowledge of the development industry. Your time will be spent between project and head office in Sydney CBD.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility in project outcomes and adhering to strategies and targets as communicated by DM, SDM and PD.
  • Understand feasibility and can update and report under supervision.
  • Assist in the preparations of development feasibilities and prepare formal correspondence and presentation.
  • Undertake comprehensive project preparation, research and planning activities and assist with the budget process.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to the project and across Mirvac business.

Your point of difference

To be successful you will be professionally qualified in property economics or related and have a good grounding to your career in development. A good understanding of residential apartments or built form is essential for this role so you can step into the role and work at the projects pace.

You will have solid commercial, legal and financial acumen along with good decision making, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills.

You will be a key learner, striving to progress your career residential development. You will thrive working in a team environment, on occasions dealing with ambiguity and complexity to drive win-win outcomes to a project.
