The Opportunity

As our Social Sustainability Manager (Social Impact Manager), you’ll be at the forefront of embedding social impact into the heart of our business. From Masterplanned communities to commercial property assets, you’ll partner across teams to drive meaningful outcomes that enhance lives and deliver long-term value.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Sydney CBD head office on Castlereagh Street.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Champion the Social Impact by Design Framework across business units, assets, and projects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver enhanced social outcomes.
  • Lead change through capability building, communications, and engagement strategies.
  • Use data, insights, and tools to unlock competitive advantage through social impact.
  • Support ESG reporting, board papers, and strategic bids with subject matter expertise.
  • Monitor social trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

You’re a natural connector and coach, someone who brings people on the journey and inspires action. With significant experience in commercial roles, ideally within social sustainability, you know how to influence, engage, and deliver results.

You thrive on collaboration, using your strong communication and stakeholder management skills to build trust and momentum. You’re data-savvy, curious, and driven to challenge the status quo. Most importantly, you’re passionate about creating social value and making a real difference in communities.

In summary we are looking for the following Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ experience in commercial roles, ideally within social sustainability
  • Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and embed strategic frameworks
  • Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills to bring people on the journey
  • Experience in data analysis, ESG reporting, and project delivery
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Sustainability (preferred)
