CJ Logistics is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to serve as the main point of contact for employees and support our site/department leadership. Salary Range:$60,000 - $70,000 per year
Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain a cadence of visibility to all departments that you will support.
What You'll Do
Be the Employee Champion: Serve as the first point of contact for all employee inquiries, providing timely feedback and follow-up on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Support Leadership: Coach managers on performance management and employee issues, and assist with investigations to ensure fair and consistent resolutions.
Onboarding & Recruiting: Manage the entire onboarding process from preparing materials and conducting orientation to ensuring a positive new hire experience. You'll also assist with pre-employment activities and conduct new hire touch-base meetings.
HR Administration: Accurately process all HR documentation, manage HR systems (UKG, Dayforce), assist with payroll, and maintain a high level of confidentiality with all employee files.
Drive Engagement: Help plan and execute employee events and recognition programs, identify and develop high-potential employees, and monitor required training to enhance skills and career growth.
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field.
A minimum of 1-3 years of HR experience or a combination of HR and other relevant professional experience.
Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using an HRIS system.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
A positive demeanor, a strong work ethic, and a high level of confidentiality.
Working knowledge of employment laws, including DOL, FLSA, ADA, and EEOC.
A proactive, independent, and highly organized approach to your work.
