We are looking for a Painter/Shop Helper to help assist painters with the exterior of structures and other surfaces. Your job will be important since good painting has both practical and aesthetic benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform support duties to assist painters.
- Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.
- Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
- Apply varnish and other finishes.
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions.
SKILLS:
- Proven experience as a painter helper
- Aptitude in using appropriate tools (grinders, sanding, masking etc.)
- Conscientious with great attention to detail
EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing experience is a big plus
- Pass pre-employment screening
