- Provide direct support for complex student cases, including home visits, student/family check-ins, parent conferences, and participation in RtI meetings.
- Facilitate monthly collaboration meetings with attendance liaisons to review campus data, share strategies, and build capacity through professional development.
- Serve as a connector between school staff and district/community resources for student and family support.
- Support implementation of tiered attendance interventions
- Tier 1 (Universal): Campaigns, daily check-ins, attendance incentives, and family communication.
- Tier 2 (Targeted): Attendance contracts, mentoring, early outreach, and small group sessions.
- Tier 3 (Intensive): Case management, home visits, referrals to community agencies, and court diversion coordination.
- Ensure all interventions are consistently documented and progress monitored.
- Analyze district and campus-level attendance data to identify trends, risk indicators, and high-priority student groups.
- Support development and monitoring of Attendance Improvement Plans (AIPs).
- Assist in preparation for truancy hearings and represent the district in court proceedings as needed.
- Foster trust and communication with families through culturally responsive outreach.
- Connect families to essential services including mental health, housing, and transportation supports.
- Develop and distribute parent-friendly resources on attendance policies and supports.

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY
The Associate - District Student Attendance Case Manager supports district-wide efforts to improve student attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism across all campuses. This role provides direct coaching, resource coordination, and case support to campus-based attendance liaisons, ensuring equitable, family-centered interventions aligned with district priorities. The position strengthens systems of support through hands-on student and family engagement, attendance data analysis, and coordination of wraparound services in collaboration with internal departments and community agencies.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Level Details
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
License / Certification Required
A valid Colorado driver's license is required.
Work Experience Required
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in student support services.
Demonstrated success working with diverse student populations and families.
Experience in school-based interventions and multi-agency collaboration.
Experience coaching or supporting staff across multiple sites preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities Required
Ability to relate to a diverse student population.
Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
Effective interpersonal skills, including collaboration, teamwork and creative problem solving
Knowledge of the Adams 14 strategic plan as it relates to pathways and graduation.

FUNDING
This position is funded through an EASI Grant for a two-year period beginning with the 2025–2026 school year. Employment may be dependent on the successful renewal of grants each year. The district will make every effort to provide advance notice if funding is not realized.
EVALUATION
Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provision of Adams County School District Board Policy, GCOA-Evaluation of Instructional Staff.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work primarily in a usual office or school environment and will be expected to be in schools supporting attendance clerks and in the community conducting home visits. The Employee may be required to work from a remote location in the event of a district shut-down or other event.
Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, compare, analyze, coordinate, instruct, evaluate, and use interpersonal skills. Occasionally required to compile, copy, compute and negotiate.

Compensation for this position is $57,451 to $84,898 per year (2025-2026), based on verified experience and qualifications, and aligned with the Adams 14 salary schedule. This position is scheduled for 228 work days annually. Additional compensation opportunities may be available through stipends or supplemental assignments, depending on job responsibilities.
